Using TinrecRecord & transcribe
Multilingual transcription
Tinrec supports auto-detecting multiple languages for transcription
Overview
Tinrec supports real-time transcription and audio-to-text in multiple languages. The system defaults to Auto-detect, so you don’t need to switch languages every time.
Steps
- Before recording or importing audio, you can choose a language in settings, or keep the default Auto-detect.
- If your main language is fixed (such as English or Japanese), switch to that language manually to improve accuracy.
- Start recording or upload a file; the system recognizes speech and generates a transcript in the corresponding language.
- After transcription finishes, you can switch bilingual display (bilingual side-by-side / original only / translation only).
Tips / FAQ
- Supported languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and more, with ongoing expansion.
- Auto-detect: Default—no manual switch needed. If speech mixes multiple languages, manually set the main language for more stable results.
