Import MP3, WAV, and other audio files into Tinrec to generate a transcript
Overview
Tinrec’s Import feature quickly turns existing audio or video files into a transcript and automatically generates an AI summary and to-dos.
Steps
- On the home screen or Workspace, tap Import to open the Transcribe audio and video window.
- Drag and drop or select the file to transcribe (supports MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, and more).
- Tap Start transcription and watch the upload progress window: Uploading / Creating task / Done.
- When done, a transcript, AI summary, and to-dos are generated automatically.
Tips / FAQ
- Allowance limits: Free: 30 minutes of transcript per import, 5 imports per month. Pro: 5 hours per import and unlimited imports. For the full supported format list, follow what the App shows and the official website (details as stated on the official website).
- Source types: Besides local import, Tinrec also supports recorder sync, third-party share import, and web video link parsing.
