Overview
Tinrec’s Web video feature lets you paste a video link to automatically parse it and generate a transcript, AI summary, and chapters.
Steps
- On the Tinrec home screen or Workspace, tap Web video.
- Paste the video link (for example, YouTube, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Facebook, Instagram, Bilibili, and others). The field prompts: “Paste a web link to automatically generate a transcript and AI summary.”
- Tap Paste and recognize / Extract video transcript.
- Wait for parsing to finish, then view the transcript, AI summary, and auto-generated chapters.
Tips / FAQ
- Supported platforms: Tinrec supports 100+ major platforms (see the full list). Free: 5 per month; Pro: unlimited.
- Parsing fails: Third-party site changes can occasionally break parsing. Download the video and upload it via Import instead.
