Overview

Tinrec is an AI meeting assistant: using AI live speech recognition, it automatically generates transcripts, meeting notes, speaker summaries, and to-do lists after a meeting—helping you save about 90% of the time spent organizing recordings. For online meetings, Tinrec provides meeting recording so you can keep searchable meeting content with ease.

Steps

1. Choose a platform: Tinrec supports iOS, Android, Mac desktop, and web.
   • Mac desktop (macOS 12 or later): Capture system audio from Zoom / Google Meet / Microsoft Teams / Webex and more with live transcription (Windows version coming soon).
   • Web: Record and transcribe directly with multi-device sync; each session has a limit.
   • App (iOS / Android): Live recording to text and AI summaries; supports in-app audio capture on mobile.
2. Start recording: During a meeting, click Start recording in the Mac desktop app (capture system audio) for live transcription—about 98–99% accurate.
3. Auto deliverables after the meeting: After you stop recording, Tinrec automatically generates a transcript, meeting notes, speaker summaries, to-dos, key highlights, and chapters.
4. Follow-up use: Search the transcript, edit content, ask AI with Ask, and export (Word / PDF / SRT, and more) or share in one click.

Tips / FAQ

Q: Does Tinrec join meetings as a bot?

A: No. Tinrec records by capturing meeting app system audio through the Mac desktop app—it does not join as a meeting bot.

Q: Is there calendar-sync automatic recording?

A: Tinrec does not currently clearly offer calendar sync with automatic recording (details per the official site). We recommend starting recording manually in the desktop app when the meeting begins.

Q: What is the recording length limit?

A: Web has a per-session limit (Free: 30 minutes; Pro: 5 hours). For long meetings, use the desktop app or mobile app.
