How many meetings can be recorded at once
Learn Tinrec’s per-device meeting recording limits and how to record multiple meetings at the same time.
Overview
Tinrec supports recording only one meeting at a time on a single device. If you need to record multiple overlapping meetings, prepare multiple devices (for example two Macs, or a Mac plus a phone) and start recording on each device separately.
Steps
- Confirm your platform: Tinrec supports iOS, Android, Mac desktop, and web.
- On the first device, open Tinrec and start recording the first meeting (the Mac desktop app can capture system audio from Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex, and more).
- If another meeting needs recording at the same time, sign in to Tinrec on another device and start recording there.
- If you have only one device, wait until the first recording finishes before starting the next.
Tips / FAQ
Q: Can one device record two meetings at once?
A: No. A single device can record only one meeting at a time.
Q: What if I have overlapping meetings?
A: Use multiple devices to record separately; or prioritize and record the important session first, then import the other recordings afterward for transcription.
Q: Do multiple devices share the same allowance?
A: Transcription and AI allowance are based on your Tinrec account plan, regardless of how many devices you use. Records from each device sync to the same account workspace.
