Manage automatic sharing for recordings
Adjust Tinrec’s automatic sharing behavior after recording finishes
Overview
Tinrec’s automatic sharing can create an online link after recording finishes so colleagues or friends can view the transcript, meeting notes, chapters, and to-dos. This article explains how to manage these settings.
Steps
- Open Tinrec and go to Personal settings → Share settings or Meeting recording settings.
- Adjust the following:
- Automatic sharing switch: Whether a link is created automatically after recording finishes.
- Default permissions: Link viewing permissions and encrypted share settings.
- After you save, later recordings follow the new rules for creating or skipping automatic sharing.
- Existing share links can be revoked or adjusted individually from the Share menu on each record.
Tips / FAQ
Q: What about links already sent after I turn off automatic sharing?
A: You still need to revoke them manually. Turning off the setting does not invalidate old links automatically.
Q: Encrypted sharing?
A: Tinrec supports online encrypted sharing. You can set permission controls when sharing.
