Using TinrecReview & edit transcripts
Speaker identification overview
Learn how Tinrec automatically separates and identifies speakers
Overview
Tinrec includes speaker separation. In multi-person meetings, interviews, and similar scenarios, it automatically distinguishes speakers and can generate a Speaker summary so you can see each person’s key points.
Steps
- During multi-person recording or transcription, the system separates speakers and shows labels such as Speaker 1 and Speaker 2 in the transcript.
- After transcription, open the Speaker summary card on the detail page to review each speaker’s highlights.
- Adjust with rematch, rename, or tagging as needed (see related articles in this category).
Tips / FAQ
- Accuracy depends on capture quality and overlapping speech; quiet rooms with clear turn-taking work best.
- Defaults use Speaker N—rename to real names for easier search later.
- For rematch, rename, retag, and untag details, see the related articles in this category (details are subject to the official website).
