Retag and update a speaker tag

Overview

Retag lets you change how a speaker tag is categorized or displayed—for example, assign a speaker to a group or change tag style—so attribution stays clear in multi-person meetings.

Steps

1. Open the conversation detail page and go to Transcript or Speaker summary.
2. Open edit options for the speaker tag and choose Retag.
3. Adjust category or display settings (for example group membership or tag color).
4. Confirm; the updated tag applies to that speaker’s related segments.

Tips / FAQ

• To change only the display name, use Rename.
• Retag vs untag: retag adjusts tag assignment; untag removes the speaker tag from a segment (see Untag a speaker).
• Available tag types and UI depend on your app version (details are subject to the official website).
