Edit a conversation

Edit a conversation title, content, and basic information

Overview

Tinrec lets you edit basic conversation info and transcript text—change the title, fix transcript wording, adjust speaker assignment, and more—so the record matches what actually happened.

Steps

  1. From Workspace or the conversation detail page, open the record’s more menu and choose Edit.
  2. Update the title or basic info (name, notes, and similar fields).
  3. To fix transcript text, edit directly in Transcript; use search or replace to correct proper nouns quickly.
  4. Save when done—changes take effect immediately.

Tips / FAQ

  • After major transcript edits, regenerate the meeting summary so it stays aligned.
  • Even if you change a lot of text, the original audio remains—play it back to verify.
  • Some fields may be read-only depending on share permissions (shared pages may be view-only).
