Add context to Ask AI (conversations / folders)

Select multiple recordings or folders as Ask AI context for multi-audio Q&A.

Overview

By default, Ask AI answers about the current recording. To combine multiple records, add context—select several recordings (conversations) or a whole folder so Ask AI can run multi-audio Q&A (multiAudioQA) across meetings or interviews.

Steps

  1. Open a recording’s detail page and go to the Ask AI panel.
  2. Find Add context or Link audio and open the picker.
  3. Select recordings (conversations) to include, or pick a folder to add multiple records at once.
  4. Confirm context, return to Ask AI, and ask a cross-content question—for example, “Compare the budget differences mentioned in these three meetings.”
  5. Ask AI synthesizes transcripts and summaries from the selected audio into a combined answer.

Tips

  • More context covers a wider range, but processing may take a bit longer.
  • For a single meeting, skip extra context and ask about the current recording only.
  • When selecting a folder, watch how many recordings it contains so you don’t pull in unrelated content.
