Generate documents with Ask AI (AI generate file)

Use Ask AI to produce Word, Excel, PDF, and HTML files—skip manual cleanup.

Overview

Besides answering questions, Ask AI can produce documents (AI generate file). Describe the content and format in natural language, and Ask AI creates the matching Word, Excel, PDF, or HTML file so meeting outcomes are ready for reports, filing, or sharing.

Steps

  1. Open the Ask AI panel on the recording detail page.
  2. Describe the document in natural language—for example, “Create a meeting summary from this meeting as a Word file.”
  3. Ask AI processes the request and generates the file (aiGenerateFile).
  4. After you confirm the content, download Word, Excel, PDF, or HTML.

Tips

  • Spell out format and purpose—for example, “Generate a client-ready PDF summary”—for closer results.
  • Generated content is also AI-based from the transcript; check against the transcript or meeting summary before sending.
  • For broader export options (SRT subtitles, images, TXT), use Export in the more menu.
