Can I still access my data after canceling, downgrading, or changing plans?
Whether your recordings and meeting notes remain accessible in Tinrec after you cancel, downgrade, or change plans.
Overview
When you cancel, downgrade, or change plans in Tinrec, you may wonder whether existing recordings, transcripts, and meeting notes remain accessible. This guide summarizes related rights to help you transition smoothly.
Steps
- Go to Profile Settings → Subscription Management and confirm your current plan status and end date.
- Before the end date, you can still access and use all recordings, transcripts, and meeting notes already produced.
- If you downgrade to Free, some advanced features (such as a higher single-recording limit or unlimited import) adjust to Free benefits, but existing data can usually still be viewed.
- For long-term retention, export important recordings to Word, PDF, TXT, SRT, or other formats first.
Tips / FAQ
- After canceling a subscription, benefits are unaffected until the period ends; after that, feature limits follow your plan.
- Existing recordings and transcripts can generally still be viewed, but Free has a 30-minute single-recording limit and 5 imports per month (each import transcribes up to 30 minutes).
- Changing plans (such as switching between Basic Pro and Pro+) usually takes effect at the next billing period; benefits during the current period follow the original plan.
