Hotword management (custom vocabulary)

Overview

Tinrec's Hotword Management lets you add frequently used proper nouns, names, or terms to improve speech recognition accuracy during transcription. Hotwords are prioritized by AI during recording.

Steps

1. Open the Tinrec app and go to Profile Settings → Hotword Management.
2. Tap Add vocabulary, enter terms, and save (each entry is limited to 20 characters; Chinese characters count as 2 characters each).
3. You can set a vocabulary as Default so AI prioritizes it.
4. When you start recording, the system applies the corresponding hotword vocabulary (only one vocabulary can be applied per recording).

Tips / FAQ

• Free plan: up to 10 hotwords; paid plans (Basic Pro, Pro+): up to 100.
• Hotword limits depend on your plan; upgrade if you exceed the limit.
• Add industry terms, names, and other words that are often misrecognized to improve accuracy.
