Change your sign-in email address

Learn whether Tinrec currently supports changing your sign-in email address, and what alternatives are available.

Overview

Tinrec does not currently support changing your sign-in email address. The Google, Apple, or email verification code sign-in method used when the account was created will remain your fixed sign-in credentials and cannot be changed yourself in Profile Settings.

If you need help for special situations such as an invalid email or a change of sign-in method, please contact Tinrec Support.

What you can do now

  1. Keep using your original sign-in method: Continue signing in with the Google, Apple, or email verification code method you used at registration.
  2. Confirm your sign-in email: If you use email verification code sign-in, make sure that inbox can still receive messages; codes are sent to the email used at registration.
  3. Third-party account sign-in: If you sign in with Google or Apple, sign-in credentials are managed by those platforms; Tinrec cannot separately change the linked email.
  4. When you need help: If the original email can no longer receive messages, or you can't sign in, contact Support at official@tinrec.com and describe your account and issue.

Tips / FAQ

Q: Why can't I change my sign-in email?

A: Tinrec has not yet enabled changing the sign-in email; if this becomes available later, it will be announced in the app and on the official website.

Q: I signed in with Google / Apple — can I switch to email sign-in?

A: You cannot switch sign-in methods yourself at this time. Continue using your original sign-in method to access your account.

Q: Which email receives notifications?

A: Notifications and sign-in verification use the email linked when the account was created. To adjust notification preferences, go to Profile Settings to manage email and push notifications (see "Adjust Tinrec email and push notification settings").
