What to do when you can't sign in
If you can't sign in to Tinrec, use this guide to check common causes and resolve the issue.
Overview
If you can't sign in to Tinrec, start by troubleshooting based on the sign-in method you use. Tinrec supports Google account, Apple account, and email verification code sign-in (LINE sign-in is coming soon).
Steps
- Make sure your network connection is working, and use the latest version of the Tinrec app or web version.
- Troubleshoot by sign-in method:
- Google / Apple sign-in: Confirm that the corresponding account can sign in normally, and check whether Tinrec has been authorized access.
- Email verification code sign-in: Confirm that the inbox can receive messages, and check the spam folder; resend the verification code.
- If you still can't sign in, contact Tinrec Support (official@tinrec.com) and provide your sign-in email address.
Tips / FAQ
- The verification code is 6 digits; enter it within the validity period.
- If you signed in with Apple's "Hide My Email," remember that relay email address; if you can't sign in, contact Tinrec Support for help.
- After switching devices, if you originally signed in with a third-party account, confirm that account is still available on the new device or that you are signed in.
