Delete your Tinrec account
How to permanently delete your Tinrec account and related data.
Overview
When you no longer use Tinrec, you can delete your account. After deletion, recordings, transcripts, meeting notes, subscription records, and other data under the account will be removed.
Steps
- Sign in to the Tinrec app or web version with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Tap Delete account and confirm deletion as instructed.
- If prompted, handle any active subscription or back up important data before completing deletion.
Tips / FAQ
- Before deleting, back up important recordings (you can export Word, PDF, TXT, SRT, and other formats).
- Account deletion is irreversible; data cannot be recovered after completion.
- If you still have an active subscription, cancel it in Subscription Management first.
