Automatically import recordings into Tinrec with Zapier
Automatically import recordings into Tinrec with Zapier
Overview
Tinrec does not currently offer a direct Zapier integration, so you cannot set up a Zapier flow that automatically imports recordings into Tinrec. If you want to bring recordings into Tinrec for transcription, use Tinrec’s built-in import features manually. This article explains what you can do today.
Steps
- On the Tinrec home screen or workspace, click Import to open the Transcribe audio and video window.
- Drag and drop or select a local recording (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, and similar formats), or download from the cloud first and then import.
- Click Start transcription, wait for upload and processing, and the system will automatically generate a transcript, AI summary, and to-dos.
- If the recording is from a video platform, you can also use Web video to text and paste a link to parse it directly (supports YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and 100+ major platforms).
- For batch processing, import one file at a time. Automated batch import is not available yet.
