Automatically import recordings into Tinrec with Zapier

Automatically import recordings into Tinrec with Zapier

Overview

Tinrec does not currently offer a direct Zapier integration, so you cannot set up a Zapier flow that automatically imports recordings into Tinrec. If you want to bring recordings into Tinrec for transcription, use Tinrec’s built-in import features manually. This article explains what you can do today.

Steps

  1. On the Tinrec home screen or workspace, click Import to open the Transcribe audio and video window.
  2. Drag and drop or select a local recording (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, and similar formats), or download from the cloud first and then import.
  3. Click Start transcription, wait for upload and processing, and the system will automatically generate a transcript, AI summary, and to-dos.
  4. If the recording is from a video platform, you can also use Web video to text and paste a link to parse it directly (supports YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and 100+ major platforms).
  5. For batch processing, import one file at a time. Automated batch import is not available yet.
