Connect Tinrec to-dos to Trello

Overview

Tinrec does not currently offer a direct Trello integration, so there is no Connect Trello setting. If you use Trello for project management, let Tinrec extract to-dos from the recording automatically, then bring them into your Trello board. This article explains how.

Steps

  1. Finish recording and transcription in Tinrec, then on the detail page review the auto-generated To-dos (including owner, due date, and priority).
  2. In the to-do center or on the detail page, copy the to-do content, or export the to-do list (TXT / Markdown).
  3. Open Trello, add cards on the matching board, and paste the to-dos into cards. You can set labels by priority (High / Medium / Low) and fill in owners and due dates.
  4. Or click Share to create an encrypted link and paste it into a Trello card description so the team can open the full meeting transcript.

Q: Why is there no Trello direct connection?

A: Tinrec does not currently offer a direct third-party Trello connection. See the official website for the integration list.

Q: Can to-dos create Trello cards automatically?

A: For now you need to copy or export manually and bring them in. Automatic sync is not available yet.

Q: How do priorities map?

A: Tinrec to-dos use High / Medium / Low priority, which can map to Trello labels or lists.

  • To-dos: Automatically extract action items from recordings.
  • Export: Export to-do lists.
  • Share: Encrypted share links.
