Tinrec and calendar connections (Google, Microsoft, Apple Calendar)

Tinrec and calendar connections (Google, Microsoft, Apple Calendar)

Overview

Tinrec does not currently offer a direct integration with Google Calendar, Microsoft Calendar, or Apple Calendar, so account settings have no Connect or Disconnect calendar option. This article explains how you can still get meeting recordings into your own calendar or tools workflow.

Steps

Because Tinrec has no direct calendar connection yet, you can get meeting content into your workflow like this:

  1. Record the meeting: Use the Tinrec Mac desktop app to record Zoom / Meet / Teams / Webex and more with live transcription; or use Web video to text and paste a meeting recording link to parse it.
  2. Export content: On the recording detail page, open the action menu and choose Export to produce Word, PDF, TXT, SRT, PNG, Markdown, and more.
  3. Create a share link: Click Share to create an encrypted online share link and send it so colleagues can view the transcript and meeting notes in a browser.
  4. Send to the cloud: Use export to send content to Notion, Google Docs, Microsoft OneNote, or Dropbox, or email it.

Tips / FAQ

Q: Why can’t I find a Disconnect calendar setting?

A: Because Tinrec is not currently connected to any third-party calendar, there is no connection to disconnect.

Q: Will calendars be supported in the future?

A: Tinrec’s integrations continue to expand. For the latest supported list, see announcements on tinrec.com.

Q: How do I keep meeting content from being scattered?

A: Use Tinrec as the single source for meeting recordings and notes, then distribute to the team via export and share links.

  • Export: Multi-format export of meeting notes, transcripts, memos, and to-do lists.
  • Share: Create encrypted share links to sync meeting results across teams.
  • Desktop recording: Record online meetings on Mac with live transcription.
