Audio import not supported on older iOS apps

Limitations of audio import on older Tinrec iOS apps and upgrade recommendations.

Overview

On older versions of the Tinrec iOS app, Upload recording / audio import may not be supported. If you cannot find the import entry or import fails, the app version is likely too old.

Steps (fix and upgrade)

  1. Open the App Store and search for "Tinrec".
  2. Update Tinrec to the latest version (iOS 14 or later required).
  3. Reopen the app and tap Upload file on the home screen to import audio.
