Allow collaborators to share
Control whether team members can reshare conversations (collaboration feature in development).
Overview
In Tinrec team collaboration scenarios, you can control whether people you work with can reshare a conversation with others. Allow collaborators to share is part of team collaboration permissions. Related features are planned for the Enterprise team plan and do not yet have a confirmed launch date.
Steps (planned workflow)
- Open a conversation already shared with team members.
- Open share management and find Allow collaborators to share.
- Turn the permission on or off to decide whether members can create their own share links.
- After you save, the setting applies immediately to collaborators on that conversation.
Tips / FAQ
- Collaboration still in development: Channels, member management, and collaborator permissions are planned and not yet scheduled to launch; details are subject to the official website.
- Current workaround: Until team features ship, create an encrypted share link yourself and forward it to colleagues. To limit further sharing, Stop sharing when needed.
- Share security: Share links support permission controls and online encryption—send them only to trusted recipients.
