Record and transcribe Zoom meetings with Tinrec

Record and transcribe Zoom meetings with Tinrec

Overview

Tinrec does not currently offer automatic Zoom cloud recording sync (Zoom Sync), so there is no setting to connect a Zoom account and sync recordings automatically. You can still use the Tinrec Mac desktop app to capture Zoom system audio with live transcription during the meeting and get the same outcome. This article explains how.

Steps

  1. Download and install the Tinrec Mac desktop app (macOS 12 or later), open it, and sign in.
  2. Go to the Recording page and click Start recording (authorize microphone and system audio capture).
  3. Start the Zoom meeting. The Tinrec desktop app captures meeting system audio and transcribes in real time; the live transcript appears as you speak.
  4. During recording, you can Add marker for decisions and key points.
  5. When the meeting ends, stop recording, confirm to save, and generate meeting notes, speaker summaries, and to-do lists automatically.
  6. Afterward, Export multi-format files or Share an encrypted link with attendees.
