Audio file upload failed
Troubleshoot when Tinrec audio files fail to upload or keep failing to submit.
If an audio file keeps failing to submit, complete the checks below in order.
Check your network connection
Switch to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network, then upload again. Upload needs a continuous connection and often fails when the signal is unstable.
Check file format and size
Confirm the file is a supported format (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, and so on). For other formats, convert first, then upload. For very large files, split or compress them.
Update Tinrec
Update Tinrec to the latest version, reopen the App, and upload again.
Check your allowance
The Free plan allows up to 5 imports per month and 30 minutes of transcript per import. If you have reached the limit, upgrade to Pro or try again the next day / next month.
Still cannot upload
Keep a screenshot of the error and the time it occurred, then contact Tinrec support for help (support email: official@tinrec.com; replies within 24 hours on business days).
