Nonprofit and care discounts

Overview

Tinrec offers 50% off Pro yearly care discounts for certain eligibility types. Below are the discount types currently available, how to apply, and how nonprofit organizations apply.

Available discounts

• Education discount: After student or teacher verification, get 50% off Pro yearly pricing.
• Hearing disability verification (hearing care): After verification for hearing/speech disability, get 50% off Pro yearly pricing.

Application process

1. In the benefits area of your personal center, choose Education discount verification or Hearing disability verification (pick one; after submitting you cannot apply for the other).
2. Fill in details and upload proof for the type you chose:
   • Education discount: Enter your name and school, and upload a student ID or teacher ID.
   • Hearing disability verification: Upload your government ID (front and back) and disability certificate.
3. Submit for review (usually completed within 24 hours on business days).
4. After approval, 50% off Pro yearly pricing unlocks automatically.

Nonprofit organizations

Tinrec does not currently offer a dedicated nonprofit organization discount plan. If you represent a nonprofit, check the latest announcements and pricing page on the official website; you can also see whether education discount or hearing disability verification eligibility applies.

• When minutes run short, you can purchase transcription time separately.
