How to upload audio files
Learn how to upload existing audio files in the Tinrec App and on the web.
You can upload existing audio files in the Tinrec App or on the web. The system automatically generates a transcript and an AI summary.
Supported formats
Tinrec supports common audio/video formats, including MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, and more. For the full list, see the formats shown in the App’s Transcribe audio and video window.
Upload in the App
- Open the Tinrec App and tap Upload file on the home screen.
- Select the recording you want to process.
- Confirm the language, tap Start transcription, and wait for upload and processing to finish.
- When processing is done, review the transcript, AI summary, and to-dos.
Upload on the web
After signing in to Tinrec on the web, tap Upload file in the console, choose an audio file, confirm the language, and start transcription.
Tips
- After upload, you can use Ask on the detail page to ask questions about the content, or Export to Word, PDF, SRT, and other formats.
